Tetra Pak is aiming to modernize the shelf‑stable tuna aisle with what it calls the industry’s first carton packaging for shelf‑stable tuna.

Developed in collaboration with Spanish seafood producer Jealsa, the tuna is packaged in Tetra Recart®, a paper‑based alternative to traditional metal cans. The format launched in Sweden last month with retailer Axfood and is now being made available to food producers and brands globally.

Japan's Frozen Yellowtail Fillet Exports Rose 67% in April; up 73% to the US
